World's first full facial transplant made in Spain.

A farmer suffered a gunshot to his face that completely destroyed his face leaving him with only 2 eyes. He has had 9 surgeries that failed because he coulldn't drink or swallow and couldn't breathe properly. He has lived like this for five years until finally a hospital in Spain helped him out by giving him a whole face transplant from a dead brain donor. The surgery lasted 24 hours an was done by 30 doctors. In the end the surgery was succesful. The doctors said within a couple of weeks everything will be back to normal as it was before he shot him self. The man will be able to eat, swallow and watch tv.
